सौराष्ट्रे सोमनाथं च श्रीशैले मल्लिकार्जुनम् ।
उज्जयिन्यां महाकालम्ॐकारममलेश्वरम् ॥१॥

O Lord Shiva, with love and reverence, I remember and chant the sacred names of Your twelve jyotirlingas, the supreme pillars of divine light that grace this earth with Your infinite presence. In Saurashtra, You shine as Somnath, the Lord of the Moon, radiating grace and immortality. On the holy Sri Shaila mountain, You reside as Mallikarjuna, adorned with jasmine flowers, granting liberation and divine bliss. In the ancient city of Ujjain, You stand as Mahakaleshwar, the mighty Lord of Time and Death, who destroys the fear of mortality. At the tranquil banks of the Narmada, You shine as Omkareshwar and Mamaleshwar, the purest source of the sacred Om, sustaining the balance of the universe.

In Parali, You are Vaidyanath, the divine healer, the cosmic physician who cures the diseases of body and soul. In the Dakini forest, You manifest as Bhimashankar, the fierce destroyer of evil, protector of righteousness. At the edge of the ocean, where Lord Rama built His bridge, You stand as Rameshwar, the lord worshipped by the Supreme Rama Himself, symbolizing humility and devotion. In the Daruka forest, You appear as Nageshwar, the protector of all beings, encircled by serpentine energy and cosmic wisdom.

At the banks of the Godavari, You dwell as Tryambakeshwar, the three-eyed lord who burns away past karmas and grants the blessings of spiritual rebirth. In the Himalayas, You shine as Kedarnath, the majestic mountain lord, whose presence uplifts the hearts of all pilgrims, inspiring awe and surrender. And in the sacred land of Ghushmeshwar, You are Ghushmeshwar, the final and twelfth jyotirlinga, completing the circle of Your divine energy.

O Lord, the one who chants these names of the jyotirlingas every morning and evening with sincerity and devotion — for that devotee, the sins of seven lifetimes are washed away by mere remembrance. You, O Shiva, are the ocean of compassion, the destroyer of sorrow, and the giver of ultimate freedom. I bow to You again and again, O Mahadeva, for in You I find strength, wisdom, peace, and the eternal promise of liberation.
