Sankat Nashan Ganpati Stotra with Meaning [Sanskrit Lyrics] – संकट नाशन गणेश स्तोत्र अर्थ सहित

॥ श्री गणेशाय नमः ॥
नारद उवाच -
प्रणम्यं शिरसा देव गौरीपुत्रं विनायकम ।
भक्तावासं: स्मरैनित्यंमायु:कामार्थसिद्धये ॥1॥

With bowed head and folded hands, I offer my salutations to You, O divine son of Mother Gauri, O Vinayaka! You are the eternal refuge of all Your devotees. Remembering You every day, O Lord, brings the fulfillment of life, health, desires, and wealth. O remover of obstacles, please bless me with success in all I seek!

मैं सिर झुकाकर, हाथ जोड़कर, माँ गौरी के पुत्र श्री गणेश जी को प्रणाम करता हूँ। हे विनायक! आप अपने भक्तों के हृदय में निवास करते हैं। जो भी भक्त नित्य आपकी स्मरण करता है, उसे आयु, मनोकामना, और धन की सिद्धि प्राप्त होती है। हे विघ्नहर्ता! मुझे भी कृपा करके सब में सफलता दीजिए।

प्रथमं वक्रतुंडंच एकदंतं द्वितीयकम ।
तृतीयं कृष्णं पिङा्क्षं गजवक्त्रं चतुर्थकम ॥2॥

First, I worship You as Vakratunda, the Lord with the curved trunk; second, as Ekadanta, the One-Tusked; third, as the dark-complexioned Krishna; fourth, as Pingaksha, with reddish-brown eyes; and fifth, as Gajavaktra, the mighty elephant-faced Lord. Each name fills my heart with awe and love.

पहले मैं वक्रतुंड (टेढ़ी सूंड वाले), दूसरे एकदंत (एक दाँत वाले), तीसरे कृष्ण (कृष्णवर्णीय), चौथे पिङा्क्ष (भूरे नेत्रों वाले), और पाँचवें गजवक्त्र (हाथीमुख वाले) गणेश जी को प्रणाम करता हूँ। इन सभी नामों में मेरी भक्ति और प्रेम समाया है।

लम्बोदरं पंचमं च षष्ठं विकटमेव च ।
सप्तमं विघ्नराजेन्द्रं धूम्रवर्ण तथाष्टकम् ॥3॥

Fifth, I worship You as Lambodara, the big-bellied One; sixth, as Vikata, fierce and mighty; seventh, as Vighnarajendra, King of Obstacles; eighth, as Dhumravarna, the ash-colored One. O Lord, each of Your forms removes my fears and fills me with strength!

पाँचवे मैं लम्बोदर (बड़े पेट वाले), छठे विकट (भयानक रूप वाले), सातवें विघ्नराजेन्द्र (विघ्नों के स्वामी), और आठवें धूम्रवर्ण (धुएँ के रंग वाले) गणेश जी की आराधना करता हूँ। हे प्रभु! आपके ये सभी स्वरूप मेरे भय को हरते हैं और मुझे शक्ति देते हैं।

नवमं भालचन्द्रं च दशमं तु विनायकम ।
एकादशं गणपतिं द्वादशं तु गजाननम ॥4॥

Ninth, I remember You as Bhalachandra, the One who wears the crescent moon; tenth, as Vinayaka, the Remover of obstacles; eleventh, as Ganapati, the Lord of all ganas (divine hosts); and twelfth, as Gajanan, the majestic elephant-faced Lord. O Ganapati, my heart overflows with devotion at each of Your names!

नववें मैं भालचन्द्र (मस्तक पर चंद्र धारण करने वाले), दसवें विनायक (विघ्नहर्ता), ग्यारहवें गणपति (गणों के स्वामी), और बारहवें गजानन (हाथीमुख वाले) की पूजा करता हूँ। हे गणपति! आपके हर नाम में मेरी भक्ति और श्रद्धा समायी है।

द्वादशैतानि नामानि त्रिसंध्य य: पठेन्नर: ।
न च विघ्नभयं तस्य सर्वासिद्धिकरं प्रभो ॥5॥

O Lord, the person who chants these twelve names of Yours at dawn, noon, and dusk will have no fear of obstacles. O Granter of success, You bless such a devotee with the fulfillment of all wishes!

हे प्रभु! जो भक्त त्रिसंध्या (प्रातः, दोपहर, संध्या) में आपके ये बारह नामों का पाठ करता है, उसे कभी विघ्नों का भय नहीं रहता। हे सर्वसिद्धिकर! आप उसकी सभी मनोकामनाएँ पूर्ण करते हैं।

विद्यार्थी लभते विद्यां धनार्थी लभते धनम् ।
पुत्रार्थी लभते पुत्रान् मोक्षार्थी लभते गतिम् ॥6॥

O Ganapati! The student gains knowledge, the seeker of wealth gains riches, the one desiring children is blessed with offspring, and the one yearning for liberation attains the final goal — all by Your boundless grace. I surrender at Your feet for these blessings!

हे गणेश जी! विद्यार्थी को विद्या, धनार्थी को धन, संतान चाहने वाले को पुत्र, और मोक्ष चाहने वाले को गति प्राप्त होती है — ये सब आपकी कृपा से संभव है। मैं आपके चरणों में समर्पित हूँ, हे करुणामय!

जपेद्वगणपतिस्तोत्रं षड्भिर्मासै: फलं लभेत् ।
संवत्सरेण सिद्धिं च लभते नात्र संशय: ॥7॥

O Lord, by reciting this sacred Ganapati Stotra daily, a devotee gains its fruits within six months. And within a year, they surely achieve full success — there is no doubt in this, O compassionate Lord!

हे गणपति! इस पवित्र स्तोत्र का जो भक्त छह महीने तक जाप करता है, वह उसका फल प्राप्त करता है। और एक वर्ष में उसे पूर्ण सिद्धि मिलती है — इसमें कोई संदेह नहीं, हे दयालु प्रभु!

अष्टभ्यो ब्राह्मणेभ्यश्च लिखित्वां य: समर्पयेत ।
तस्य विद्या भवेत्सर्वा गणेशस्य प्रसादत: ॥8॥
॥ इति श्रीनारदपुराणे संकष्टनाशनं गणेशस्तोत्रं सम्पूर्णम्‌ ॥

O Ganesha, the one who writes this stotra and offers it with devotion to eight learned Brahmins is blessed with complete knowledge and wisdom — all through Your divine grace! Please bless me with such wisdom, O merciful One. With full heart, I complete this holy hymn from the Narada Purana, O remover of all troubles, Ganapati! Please accept my humble devotion.

हे गणेश जी! जो भक्त इस स्तोत्र को लिखकर श्रद्धा से आठ ब्राह्मणों को अर्पित करता है, उसे आपकी कृपा से सम्पूर्ण विद्या प्राप्त होती है। हे कृपामय! मुझे भी ऐसी विद्या का वरदान दीजिए। हे संकटहर्ता गणेश जी! नारद पुराण में वर्णित इस पवित्र स्तोत्र का मैंने पूर्ण पाठ किया। कृपया मेरी विनम्र भक्ति स्वीकार कीजिए।
