सुमुखश्चैकदन्तश्च कपिलो गजकर्णकः ।
लम्बोदरश्च विकटो विघ्नराजो विनायकः ॥ १॥

O Lord Ganesha! You are the one with a beautiful face (Sumukha), the single-tusked one (Ekdanta), the reddish-brown one (Kapila), the one with elephant ears (Gajakarnaka). You are the large-bellied one (Lambodara), the ferocious form (Vikata), the remover of obstacles (Vighnaraja), and the supreme leader (Vinayaka). I bow before all your wonderful forms with love and surrender.

हे गणेश जी! आप सुन्दर मुख वाले (सुमुख), एक दंत वाले (एकदंत), कपिल वर्ण वाले (कपिल), हाथी जैसे कानों वाले (गजकर्णक) हो। आप बड़े पेट वाले (लम्बोदर), विकट रूपधारी (विकट), विघ्नों के राजा (विघ्नराज) और विनायक हो। मैं श्रद्धा से आपके सभी रूपों को नमन करता हूँ।

धूमकेतुर्गणाध्यक्षः भालचन्द्रो गजाननः ।

O Ganesha, you shine like a comet (Dhoomaketu), you are the chief of the ganas (Ganaadhipa), you wear the crescent moon on your forehead (Bhalachandra), you are the elephant-faced lord (Gajaanana). You have a curved trunk (Vakratunda), large fan-like ears (Shoorpakarna), you are the compassionate protector (Heramba), and the elder brother of Skanda (Skanda-purvaja). With devotion, I call upon all your divine names and feel your blessings flow.
