ॐकारं बिंदुसंयुक्तं नित्यं ध्यायंति योगिनः ।
कामदं मोक्षदं चैव ॐकाराय नमो नमः ॥१॥

O Lord Shiva, I bow again and again to You, the sacred Om̐, joined with the divine bindu (seed point), the cosmic syllable from which all creation arises. The yogis, the great seers, meditate constantly upon this Om̐ — the essence of the universe — as it is both the fulfiller of worldly desires and the supreme giver of liberation. O Shiva, embodiment of Om̐, You are the eternal vibration holding the universe together. I surrender to You in devotion, knowing that all that is auspicious flows from Your divine sound.

हे भगवान शिव! मैं बार-बार आपको प्रणाम करता हूँ, जो पवित्र ॐ के रूप में हैं — वह दिव्य नाद जिससे सम्पूर्ण सृष्टि उत्पन्न हुई। महान योगीजन निरंतर इस ॐ का ध्यान करते हैं, क्योंकि यह संसारिक इच्छाओं को पूर्ण करने वाला और मोक्ष प्रदान करने वाला है। हे शिव, आप इस अनंत ॐ के स्वरूप में स्वयं विराजमान हैं। आपकी दिव्य ध्वनि से ही यह सारा जगत गति करता है। मैं पूर्ण श्रद्धा और समर्पण के साथ आपको प्रणाम करता हूँ।

नमंति ऋषयो देवा नमन्त्यप्सरसां गणाः ।
नरा नमंति देवेशं नकाराय नमो नमः ॥२॥

O Mahadeva, to You the ancient sages bow in reverence, the gods offer worship, and even the hosts of celestial nymphs pay their respects. Humans, too, bow before You, O Lord of all gods, for You are the sovereign ruler of all realms. I bow again and again to the divine syllable na, symbolizing negation, the remover of ego and illusion — for in negating the false self, we realize You, the eternal truth.

हे महादेव! आपको महर्षि, देवगण, और स्वर्ग की अप्सराएँ भी नमन करती हैं। मनुष्य भी आपको, हे देवों के देव, शीश नवाते हैं। मैं बार-बार ‘न’ अक्षर को प्रणाम करता हूँ, जो अहंकार और माया का नाश करता है — क्योंकि जब झूठा ‘मैं’ मिटता है, तब ही आपकी शाश्वत सत्ता का साक्षात्कार होता है।

महादेवं महात्मानं महाध्यानं परायणम् ।
महापापहरं देवं मकाराय नमो नमः ॥३॥

I surrender to You, O Mahādeva, the Great God, whose soul is boundless, whose meditation is supreme, whose essence is the highest refuge for seekers. You are the destroyer of great sins, the purifier of all beings. I bow again and again to the sacred ma syllable, representing the mighty, the expansive, and the remover of all burdens, for You dissolve the karmic chains binding us to this world.

हे महादेव! मैं आपको प्रणाम करता हूँ, जो महानतम देवता हैं, जिनकी आत्मा अनंत है, जिनका ध्यान ही सर्वोच्च साधना है, और जो समस्त प्राणियों के परम शरणदाता हैं। आप ही महापापों का हरण करने वाले, जीवन को शुद्ध करने वाले देवता हैं। मैं बार-बार ‘म’ अक्षर को प्रणाम करता हूँ, जो विस्तार, सामर्थ्य, और पापों का अंत करने का प्रतीक है, क्योंकि आप हमारे सभी कर्मबंधनों को काटने वाले हैं।

शिवं शांतं जगन्नाथं लोकानुग्रहकारकम् ।
शिवमेकपदं नित्यं शिकाराय नमो नमः ॥४॥

I offer myself at Your feet, O Shiva, the embodiment of peace, the Lord of the Universe, the one who showers grace upon all beings. You are the only, eternal, undivided reality — the one true refuge. I bow again and again to the śi syllable, signifying auspiciousness, for You are the sole path to eternal truth, the foundation of all dharma.

हे शिव! आप शांति के साकार स्वरूप हैं, आप सम्पूर्ण जगत के नाथ हैं, और लोकों पर कृपा बरसाने वाले करुणामूर्ति हैं। आप ही एकमात्र शाश्वत मार्ग हैं, परम सत्य की ओर ले जाने वाले। मैं बार-बार ‘शि’ अक्षर को प्रणाम करता हूँ, जो कल्याण का प्रतीक है — क्योंकि आपके चरणों में ही सच्चा मंगल और मोक्ष निहित है।

वाहनं वृषभो यस्य वासुकिः कंठभूषणम् ।
वामे शक्तिधरं देवं वकाराय नमो नमः ॥५॥

Your vehicle is the mighty bull, symbolizing strength and dharma, and You wear Vasuki, the serpent king, as a precious ornament around Your neck. On Your left side stands Śakti, the cosmic feminine, the power of creation and transformation. I bow again and again to the va syllable, embodying vitality and balance, for You hold the universe in perfect harmony between masculine and feminine, destruction and renewal.

हे देव! आपका वाहन धर्म का प्रतीक वृषभ है, और आपके कंठ में वासुकि नाग अलंकार स्वरूप सुशोभित है। आपके बाईं ओर शक्ति स्वरूपा माँ खड़ी हैं — सृजन और परिवर्तन की अद्भुत शक्ति के रूप में। मैं बार-बार ‘व’ अक्षर को प्रणाम करता हूँ, जो ऊर्जा और संतुलन का प्रतीक है — क्योंकि आपके माध्यम से सृष्टि में समता और सौंदर्य विद्यमान है।

यत्र यत्र स्थितो देवः सर्वव्यापी महेश्वरः ।
यो गुरुः सर्वदेवानां यकाराय नमो नमः ॥६॥

Wherever one turns, O Maheśvara, You are there, omnipresent, all-pervading, embracing all with Your boundless presence. You are the Guru of all the gods, the supreme teacher of knowledge, dharma, and liberation. I bow again and again to the ya syllable, the eternal guide, for through Your wisdom, O Shiva, we cross the ocean of samsara and reach the shore of truth.

हे महेश्वर! आप हर स्थान में, हर कण में व्याप्त हैं; आपकी उपस्थिति सब जगह है। आप ही समस्त देवताओं के गुरु, परम शिक्षक, और ज्ञान के स्वरूप हैं। मैं बार-बार ‘य’ अक्षर को प्रणाम करता हूँ, जो ज्ञान और दिशा का प्रतीक है — क्योंकि आपकी कृपा से ही हम संसार-सागर को पार करके सत्य के तट तक पहुँच सकते हैं।

षडक्षरमिदं स्तोत्रं यः पठेच्छिवसंनिधौ ।
शिवलोकमवाप्नोति शिवेन सह मोदते ॥७॥

Whoever recites this sacred ṣaḍakṣara stotra (six-syllable hymn) in the presence of Lord Shiva with sincerity and devotion attains the blessed realm of Shiva. Such a soul rejoices eternally in divine bliss, united with Shiva, beyond the bonds of birth and death. O Lord, I chant this hymn with faith, longing to merge in Your eternal joy, to dance in the light of Your grace forever.

जो कोई भी इस पवित्र षडाक्षर स्तोत्र (छह अक्षरों का स्तोत्र) शिवजी की उपस्थिति में श्रद्धापूर्वक पढ़ता है, वह शिवलोक को प्राप्त करता है। वह आत्मा शिव के साथ दिव्य आनंद में विलीन हो जाती है, जन्म-मरण के बंधनों से मुक्त होकर शाश्वत सुख में रमण करने लगती है। हे शिव! मैं इस स्तोत्र को पूरी भक्ति से गाता हूँ, आपकी कृपा की कामना करता हूँ, और सदा आपके चरणों में विश्राम पाने की आकांक्षा रखता हूँ।
